We are a vibrant Romanian community brought together by shared roots, traditions, and a deep love for our language and culture.
Here on Vancouver Island, we gather to celebrate, reconnect, and keep our heritage alive, strengthening the bonds between all who call this community home - just as it has always been in our families and hearts.
Our hope is simple: to pass on our traditions to future generations as we received them—through family, memory, and shared experience.
OUR COMMUNITY LIFE
We come together through cultural and social gatherings that celebrate Romanian traditions, seasonal holidays, and shared moments.
These events create a space where Romanian families and individuals connect naturally, strengthen relationships, and build a sense of belonging here on Vancouver Island. Children and youth also build friendships, deepen their connection to their cultural roots, and improve their Romanian language skills.
We also warmly welcome anyone who wishes to learn about and experience the Romanian community and culture.
